We at everyday Boston believe:

Strangers are just neighbors you don’t know yet. And everyone can use a little extra kindness.

That’s why, every winter, we challenge people of all ages to write and hand out 10,000 kindness cards to strangers on Valentine’s Day.

Schools, workplaces, nonprofits, senior centers, prisons, housing communities: Everyone gets involved. You ready, Boston?!

  • Step 1: Sign Up

    Sign up to get blank cards
    delivered to you

  • Step 2: Write

    Write an encouraging message on the back (as simple as “Keep going!”)

  • Step 3: Deliver

    Hand your cards to strangers on Valentine’s Day- or we can do it for you!

Thanks to nearly 100 community partners, last year we made more than 10,000 cards in schools, libraries, workplaces, prisons, and nonprofits and delivered them across Boston.
